Cooking Skills

It’s almost been a month now since I started my grain-free journey – and I must say it’s probably been the best decision of my life. I feel so happy and alive. I no longer have trouble focusing and being productive for longer periods at a time – even with things that don’t interest me at all.

Most of my neck-pain seems to have disappeared as well.

Since I’ve been forced to cook much more and create salads and what not, I’ve really improved my cooking skills as an extra bonus. The other day I even managed to create an omelet, that didn’t end up being scrambled eggs.

I tried creating my own potato chips, too – which was a bit of a disaster. I think they were too wet when I started deep-frying them, so they became really soggy. At least they almost tasted like potato chips.

I’m a bit worried about the food, I’m gonna end up eating when I go see my grandma. Especially because it’s going to be quite impossible to say no to her cakes.

Oh, and today is apparently my 1 year blogging anniversary. So thanks to WordPress for congratulating me on that, and thanks to my readers for the support.
